While Memorial Day is the official/unofficial? kick-off to Summer & becomes a long weekend for most of us, it is not lost on me the significance of this holiday. So, a huge THANK YOU to those who have served our country. Some truly have given all; and we know – for sure – that freedom isn’t free. I have huge respect for all service men and women. And I remember and honor the ones who have sacrificed for the freedoms I enjoy today.
And one more quick note… Happy Anniversary to my husband Pete! We’ve been married 27 years today! We’re old.

Hi Carmen, the last beach I went to was Vilano beach this past Saturday. I took my son and daughter. It was such a beautiful day and much needed relaxation. You have amazing taste in all your give aways. I swear every time I am window shopping online, you seem to be giving it away soon after. Well hopefully I’ll be picked for it. Last beach I visited was Hudson Beach. It is a small unincorporated beach community, west of U.S. Route 19 in Pasco County, Florida. It was a farewell celebration to my cousin Tony who died unexpectedly at the age of 40.
